All Fired Up Art Camp is an art-intensive summer camp offering specialized instruction and a wide variety of projects in several art media.

Each camper will have the opportunity to explore new areas of art and spend the summer in a fun and creative way!

Each week has a unique theme to allow repeat campers to have a fun and rewarding experience with each visit. Regardless of the week’s theme, every camp session allows campers to explore a variety of art media including Clay, Ceramics, Mosaic, Glass fusing, Drawing, Wheelthrowing, Tie-dye, Painting, and more!

Sessions are Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm for ages 6-14. We will offer a full-day 9am-4pm camp for the African Safari session at Midlothian and Short Pump.  Please contact us if a child is close to 6 years and would like to register.  All Campers are required to bring their own lunch and drink.

  • Fiesta!
    June 25-June 29

    It’s always a party at All Fired Up’s art camps! This week we will create things to help you throw a Fiesta of your own at home. Chip and dip bowl, hot tamales, fun décor…it will be hot, hot, HOT!

  • Extreme Makeover-Room Edition
    July 2-July 6

    Tired of that same old room…join us for a room redo! We will help you create new switch plate covers, picture frames, a mirror and more!

  • African Safari***
    July 16-July 20

    Come join us on a safari! Animal print, masks, and safari animals will all be seen on this adventure! We’ll be offering an optional full-day of camp for this session (see below)!

  • Let’s Eat!
    July 23-July 27

    Love to cook…or maybe just eat! During this came we will help you create new dishes for your favorites. Make a sushi dish, chopstick bowl, pizza plate and more!

    We love the outdoors. Come create some art for your garden. We will make garden plaques, gnomes, bugs and more!

  • Game Time
    August 6-August 10

    Angry Birds have come to All Fired Up! We will create some ceramic and clay games as well as create some of our favorite game characters.

  • Sweet Treats
    August 13-August 17

    Who doesn’t like a sweet treat! We will create some serving pieces to help you showcase your favorite treats. Dessert plates, a cupcake platter, and of course a candy dish are all on the project list!

***African Safari at our Midlothian and Short Pump studios will be run as part of an optional full-day camp session.  All Fired Up’s African Safari session will run from 9am-1pm for $200. Young Rembrandts will run a drawing program geared around African Safari from 1pm-4pm for $135.  Take both classes from 9-4 for $295!!  The Carytown African Safari session will run from 10am-2pm without the Young Rembrandts option.

Registration and Payment

Camp sessions are $200 plus Virginia sales tax.

Early Bird Registration: 10% off the camp fee discounted for sign up by March 15th.

Sibling Discount: 10% off the camp fee discounted for additional children from the same family (e.g. 1st child @ $200 plus tax, 2nd child @ $180 plus tax for 1 session).

Discounts cannot be combined.

Cancellation Policy: There is a non-refundable deposit of $75 for each camper payable at registration. Transfers require two weeks notice and are based on available space. if the unfortunate situation occurs that we must cancel any session that you have signed up for due to lack of enrollment, a full refund will be issued.

Fun Facts About Art Camp

Art Show

We’ll host an art show on the Monday following each camp session, from 6-7pm. We will display your child’s artwork and serve refreshments. Celebrate at our gallery gala and collect your projects to take home!

Art Camp Shirts

Campers will tie-dye a special Art Camp shirt! Wear the shirt after camp to receive a discount on pottery for the rest of the year!

The coordinator of our Art Camp is a licensed art teacher with the State of Virginia. Our program is not only fun, but educational!
