Creativity, Confusion, & Surprises

February 17, 2014

Here is a great story from one of our studios:

happybirthdaymomLouise and her dad came in on a Saturday–first time guests to the studio, and baby Louise was very distinctly dressed in a pink hat with ears. They made Louise’s mom a platter for her birthday (right).

This is the best part: Not even three days later, little Louise came in the studio once more, in her pink hat– this time, with her MOM! ALSO a “first-time visitor” to the studio!! This time Mom wanted to make a Valentine’s Day gift for her husband–the very same husband who had JUST come in to make a birthday present for his wife! 02_ValentinesSurpriseShe wanted Louise’s handprints on something, but, knowing that she was receiving something with handprints already, I convinced her to do feet!

So, this past weekend they are BOTH received two extremely personalized gifts from All Fired Up, having independently had the same idea to immortalize little Louise’s tiny hands and feet. I couldn’t help but wonder if little Louise recognized her surroundings… and I thanked my lucky stars the baby wasn’t old enough to have said something, ruining the surprise!
